An individual can become powerful when that person takes risks and has confidence. For instance, I got my power of queen for a while when I took the risk of helping with Duncan's murder. By doing this, my husband and I were able to steal the throne and gain the power ourselves. It takes guts, leadership and most of all confidence in yourself to be powerful because that is the only way people will take you seriously, which gives you power. There are different types of power. Good power and bad power. I chose the bad, evil power because that is just the kind of person that I am. I dont need a good concious because all that I'm after is the power. So that being, I would do anything for it, even murder someone like you know. However, there is good power. To get good power, an individual must be respectful to earn other peoples respect. A powerful person has courage and strength either physicly, mentally or both. How that individual chooses to use their power is up to them. In my opinion, you should be selfish with it.

ReplyDeleteI really like how you differentiated between good power and bad power. However, don't you think that even to get bad power, an bad individual earns other's respect? Yes, of course they are going about it in an evil way, but nonetheless, respect is happening. Having guts and confidence are important qualities for being either a good or a bad leader. You clearly had guts and confidence in the beginning, and I think you even had the respect of many people. I just don't understand what happened to you. I think Shakespeare must have been afraid of you; otherwise, couldn't you have completely taken control over your husband?

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. If you want power you need to take risks and have confidence. i like how you said you took the risk of killing the king with your husband so you could have power. Thats what you need. If you don't try to get something you want then you will never get it. I like how you say you choose bad power. I agree you don't need a good concience if you have power then you are all set. You wont have any worries. You are one smart girl. Having your husband help you get power and having the confidence you had to get power is a genuis idea. Let me know if you want to hang out anytime. Maybe we could get more power and go takeover the world. With the way you think i think we could do anything and nothing would stop us from getting more power.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the way you think! I mean great minds think alike, right? You have such great confidence in yourself just like I do. Bad power is definitely the way to go. Good power is boring. If your gonna have fun, you might as well kill a few people in the process. Selfishness is also a very good trait to have when gaining power. If you don't consider yourself, what good is the power?
